Chances are you have already abandoned your New Year's resolution by now. Maybe you are worried about how to stick with it when the semester gets underway. Perhaps you don't set goals at all. Students are no different, they abandon tasks, struggle to complete what they have started, or don't set clear goals in the first place. In this session we will explore the small area hypothesis (Koo & Fishbach 2012) as a way to increase our own personal success with completing what we set out to do. No burpees or sit ups involved, just a desire to help our students finish what they start.
