There are many effective techniques that can be done to engage students with only what we had in the 80’s – simplicity and no technology. Some are AVID techniques and some come from other sources. We will sample some of these techniques in the session as students and talk about different variations of the techniques that can be done to fit different types of subjects to increase retention, learning, and grades!
